The Communications Officer will be responsible for day to day social media management, writing weekly blog posts, and conducting general research on open access. This position reports to the Communications Coordinator.
If you enjoy writing and are passionate about open access, then you’re who we’re looking for! Good writing skills in English are required. Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, and WordPress is desired, but training will be provided. Basic graphic design skills are a bonus.
This volunteer position requires a time commitment of 3-5 hours per week and frequent internet access. The Open Access Button team is international, we value regional representation and this position could be based anywhere in the world.
