You can incorporate the Open Access Button into your Open Access Week event in a small or big way. This can be as simple as playing our video and reading a short script, or grander by hosting a Button team member to talk about the Button via Skype/Google Hangout or even in person if there is a team member in your region. Of course, other ideas would be very welcome and this is intended to be flexible.
Each event host will be supported by the Button’s Event Coordinator who will assist in helping you plan how to incorporate the Button in your event. Additionally, each event host will be assigned to a member of the Button’s Community and Advocacy team who will help with answering questions about how to talk about the Button and provide training on how to effectively advocate for Open Access, if needed. You can also expect materials such as a video and script to be provided if required.
