Press Coordinator
The Communications Officer will be responsible for contacting press outlets, composing contact lists, and researching Open Access in the media. This position reports to the Communications Coordinator.

We’re looking for someone who can write press releases and is comfortable with contacting the press. Strong writing skills in English are required. A background in public relations or journalism is desired, but not essential. Training will be provided as needed.

This volunteer position requires a time commitment of 3-5 hours per week, but will increase leading up to the launch of Open Access Button 2.0. The Open Access Button team is international, we value regional representation and this position could be based anywhere in the world.
